summer training reasons    




PAID TEACHING JOBS (Taiwan / Japan / China)

ESL teaching jobs in public & private schools in Taiwan, Japan or China for one year terms renewable annually. There are also affordable short-term summer missions in Asia, Europe and South America. Sending organizations provide excellent paid job opportunities for mission-minded Christians.

A successful candidate will spend a year teaching English in a foreign country. Following are the descriptions of the positions available:

LOCATIONS:

Taipei, Taichung or Kaohsiang in Taiwan.
Tokyo, Osaka or Nagoya areas in Japan.
Lower paying jobs in China. (Click the "partial support" button above)

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. 4-year college degree with any major.
  2. A well-developed sense of professional responsibility, a caring attitude and a creative approach towards classroom instruction.
POSITIONS:
  1. 1000 or more English teaching positions available in Taiwan or Japan.
  2. Teaching jobs in private & public elementary or high schools. Teachers with a Masters degree could be assigned to a college or university.
  3. One-year contract (renewable). Applications accepted year round.

SALARY:

US$1500 - $2000/month

SUPPORT RAISING:

US$250/month (optional)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  1. Work with the host church in a youth program or other program and teach English as part of the church outreach functions.
  2. Teach English at a private school for 25 hours/week (vacation time can be pre-arranged).

TRAINING:

The two-week training of TESOL starts whenever 10-30 team members are signed up. A TESOL certificate will be issued upon the completion of the training. Often the training is in Orange County, California. Training locations differ by organization.
