Applicants must ...
- Be a born-again Christ-follower with a servant heart and passion for reaching out to the world.
- Be a native English speaker - English is your mother tongue; English is a first language.
- Be able to speak slowly and clearly.
- Be a citizen or legal resident of Australia, Canada,
New Zealand or the United States.

- Have 4 years of college or a bachelor degree with any major.
- Make a one-year commitment. (Terms are renewable.)
- All sending agencies arrange traiining.

ATTITUDE
Applicants who are flexible, patient with learners, enthusiastic, and who genuinely enjoy working with people will qualify and have a good service experience.
Foreign language ability is not necessary. The host organization will provide you with some basic host-country language tools, such as key words, phrases and sentence structure.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE
- Complete and submit the preliminary inquiry form.
This is free.
- You will then receive a reply from a sending organization.
- In all cases, you will need pastor and/or lay leader, and perhaps, peer references.
- Eventually you will need a medical exam, passport and casual photos.
- If you pass the initial screening and are accepted to provide a formal application, there is a modest application fee that ranges from $20 to $100 that is payable to the sending organization. Do not send application monies to ESL-JOBS.com or the Finishers Project.
